Wow, what a great article! It is true, Masters and Johnson did open many doors for women and their sexuality. One limitation of their research however was to describe female orgasm in the same model as male orgasm. For many reasons, but also because male orgasm serves the purpose of reproduction, when female orgasm does not, this may not be an accurate model for women. A new model of orgasm, that includes men and women, and allows for a better understanding and more pleasure is currently being exposed. One such researchers are the Welcomed Consensus in the United States. For 25 years they have been researching specifically female orgasm, and have taught what they are learning mostly to small groups. But it's time for the world to know! Feel free to google them.
