Is Kosovo really a new democracy, as all the "recognizers" are stating? A country under NATO - UN military control, the main income imputable to black market and mafia...does really Europe needs to recognize such a "state"? Which is the next step: annexion to "Great Albania"? Are there maybe political/religous influences as: catholic Nazinger vs orthodox Serbia and Russia (which has now closer relationship with China...)
But most important: will the kosovar's life really improve?

Borys, great questions and comment,,thank you.
Democracy where Prime minister is a serial killer, ew-warior, very interesting...
About the life improvemet, I'm not so sure, regarding the fact that 90% of people do nothing, financed by black market and mafia and strong diaspora. The land downthere is great for agriculture, but no one care, it's easier to play the role of victims and make a plan named 'Great Albania' posible. That will be very usefull for EU (ironic)
It's true that Serbians react with agresion these days, but 15% of teritory is not to offer or to sell.Or it is? Rest to see...

Dear all, I agree with Borris and Vivien. Questions of major importance which will have tremendous impact in lives of people who where born and leaved there. Such fanatic ethnic and almost to the limit of hate is not good for the rest of Europe. To be proud of ur country and roots is acceptable by all of us, but we should above all respect and accept other nationalities. As we have been monitoring closely we people in Balkan of how these Kosovo Albanians where behaving since many years ago – the Clinton bombing Serbia- then I can only say that this a distasteful outcome, where we will have a pack of criminals in high positions, ruling states. This is not the idea of Democracy and this not something that we want to have around us and near us. For someone leaving far away from this it’s easy to have an opinion pro-democratic. Did u all forget what happened in Croatia with the ethnic clearing when Serbs couldn’t consider it as their country? Did we forget Latvia where Russians where deported back to their sk home country? Is this what we want? As Albania more than half of its population has emigrated to Italy, Greece and other countries now Europe will have a mass invasion of Kosovars, already as you clearly stated more than half of the population is dealing with criminal issues so who is gonna ensure us that we are not be suffering from the plague of high and really cruel criminals when it is in their everyday life. Can they learn to work and make their leaving? Can they learn of solving anything with discussion and not with threats and guns? What ever our dear oLTiMUs says it purely reflects their animal instincts where they have NO place in our Europe. America wants them as puppets, so they can do for them a lot of dirty work, did u all forget Contras scandal in Latin America that CIA was financing contras war with drug money??? Democracy above all, but I want u to think all of u with ur brain and with other part of ur body, cause old eastern European countries at that time culture was something now the American style is bombing all of them with a lot of nonsaying TV programs-radio-newspapers and much more, is it nice that western Europe thinks that former eastern European countries is a big slave market of sexual services – NO of course not. This is not my dearest friends’ democracy this crap from USA that wants u to put ur brains in a non-ending coma, so u want be able to resist if needed.
Ending my long story, no Kosovars are not a nation that will be a democratic one, only a nation of corruption and high criminality with the protection of a president who is the mafia boss himself.

I don't understand attitudes like: "there was only one possible way out in this fight - a gift of independence that has been made".
Dear friend, when someone meets you in the street and ask you to give him/her your wallet - do you find the only solution is giving away your money?
