Who I am

I'm French-Polish-American, born and raised in Strasbourg, France. I did my Erasmus in Cracow and undergrad in the States. I've been living in Brussels for the past 3 years after graduating from the College of Europe (Natolin!) and am having a great time.

Since 2006, I'm E-community Coordinator of cafebabel.com, meaning that, with the help of numerous dedicated Babelians, my mission is to bring a sense of belonging to our network of volunteers and to our readership. Why am I here? | I'm here because it makes sense. I've been involved in cafebabel.com activities since 2003 first as a volunteer and now as a staff member.

For me Europe is | Europe is my playground.

Places where I have live(d) | I was born and raised in Strasbourg (hometown), North Manchester College, Indiana, US (just for a year, I was only 7 years old. We were in the middle of nowhere, but had such a great time. Our nearest neighbours were cows), Redlands, California, US (for College), Berlin (Junior Year Abroad, i.e. the American version of the Erasmus programme), Toulouse (for my Masters, but also because my American origins stem from "l'Aveyron", in Southern France), Paris (just to see...), came back to Strasbourg (pour me ressourcer), off to Cracow (Erasmus... needed to get in touch with my Polish roots), then to Warsaw (Natolin rocks), stop over in Strasbourg, and finally Brussels, where I've stayed put for the past 3 years...

My favourite dish | I have phases... right now, my favourite dish is paëlla. July 2007: now it's risotto!
