Da grande mi piacerebbe lavorare per la Commissione Europea.

Why am I here? | Perchè no? Forse è proprio il destino della mia generazione quello di vivere in una dimensione così europea da voler CREARE con le nostre mani la sfera pubblica europea.

For me Europe is | Un sogno, un'utopia: la speranza che gli uomini hanno nel perseguire un'ideale che non è irraggiungibile, ma lì a portata di mano. In fondo, di che materia sono fatti i sogni se non di speranza?

Places where I have live(d) | Sono nata al fresco, sulle colline di Fiesole, ma sono cresciuta a Firenze, una città che è troppo bella e troppo piccola per me. Sfuggire dalla monotonia e da un gruppo chiuso sembra la storia della mia vita: i primi tre anni a Siena per fare l'Università, poi l'Erasmus a Leeds (UK). Ora come ora studio a Bologna, ma in questi ultimi mesi sto viaggiando molto in lungo e in largo il mio "mondo": l'Europa... e questo sembra proprio essere il mio destino!

My favourite dish | Come non dire la pizza? E dove le mettiamo le lasagne della nonna? E la Nutella a cucchiaiate oppure (anzi meglio) abbondante e calda sulle crepes? E... tutto il resto? :-P

Things I like: travelling, make new friends, cooking, cloudy sunsets on the beach.
Things I don't like: hypocrisy, extra-dark chocolate, waking up early.
Particularities: I wear glasses and I can't wait for Harry Potter 7! When I finish University I'd love to work for the European Commission. I'm a scout girl.

Why am I here? | A dream, an Utopia: Hope that humankind has in pursuing an ideal that is not unreachable, but is just there! In the end, what are dreams made on if not on the hope of the people?

For me Europe is | I was born on the hills of Fiesole, but raised and lived for the rest of my life in Firenze: a city that is too beautiful and too small. To escape from routine and a close environment I studied at University in Siena with an amazing erasmus year in Leeds (UK) where I discovered how it's challenging and simply wonderful to live in a real international atmosphere. Right now I'm studying in Bologna, but it seems to me that my future will be about travelling around my "world": Europe!

Places where I have live(d) | How can I not say Pizza? But, can I forget my granma's lasagne? Or Nutella and Crepes? Mmmm, and what about everything else? :-P
