José Manuel Barroso, the president of the European commission, certainly has a lot to say when it comes to Europe’s fight against climate change. In May 2006, the European Union launched a huge campaign to encourage its citizens to be ecological on a daily basis. Mamère: on the bike, on the ball
French politician and Green minister Noël Mamère is ecological only when he actually gets into Paris. A television crew filmed him climbing out of a car before a conference and then captured him ten minutes later explaining how he had arrived by bicycle. The words 'flagrant' and 'liar' come to mind
