At the 14th Toulouse Cinespaña Festival (see news), Roberto Castón’s Ander, which was unveiled in the Panorama section at the latest Berlinale (see review), won the Golden Violet for Best Film. The film, which tells the surprising love story between a Basque farmer and a Peruvian immigrant, will be released in France by Bodega Films on February 3, 2010.
